What changed in Breakeven

New features and improvements, newest first.

  1. A weekly summary of your holdings

    • Every Friday after the close, an email with how your holdings did that week, after all buy and sell charges.
    • It shows each holding's move, how far you are from the alert levels you set, and ex-dividend dates coming up.
    • Turn it off any time in Settings or with the link in the email.

  2. Easier to use, for everyone

    • Settings now has tabs on computers: Profile, Password, Devices, Billing and Appearance.
    • Adding a buy or sell from a holding opens right there, and the holding updates when you save.
    • Every page was checked against the WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standard, in light and dark, down to small phones.

  3. Drawdown alertsPremium

    • Get an email when a holding's profit after fees falls a set number of points below its best close since you set the alert.
    • The level moves up with each new best close, and is checked against the official close only.

  4. Your gain and loss reportPro and Premium

    • Every sale in a year with its proceeds, the cost of the shares sold and the gain or loss after all charges, plus dividends paid.
    • Download the report, all your trades or your holdings as CSV, or print it.

  5. See where you're signed in

    • Settings shows each device signed in to your account, with its approximate place and when it was last used.
    • Sign a device out, or every other device at once.

  6. Invite friends, earn a free month

    • Share your link from the Referrals page. When a friend starts using Breakeven you get 50 points; 100 points is a month of Starter.
