By creating an account or using Breakeven, you agree to these terms.

What Breakeven is

Breakeven calculates fees, break-even and target prices for holdings you record, and sends alerts at levels you choose. It is informational only and not investment advice; see the Disclosures. It never places trades or holds your money.

Your account

• Give a real email address you can receive mail at, and keep your password to yourself.
• One person, one account. Accounts made to get around plan limits or referral rules may be closed and their rewards removed.
• Only upload statements and enter trades for brokerage accounts you own or are allowed to manage.

Accuracy

We work hard to match your broker's figures to the pesewa, but fees, prices and imported data can be wrong, late or incomplete. Check important figures against your Contract Notes and statements before acting on them.

Plans and referrals

• Free is free. Paid plans, when they open, are billed monthly or yearly and can be cancelled any time.
• Referral points are earned when a friend you invite confirms their email and starts tracking: they come back on another day, or upload a statement from their own brokerage account. We may withhold or remove points earned through fake or duplicate accounts. Points have no cash value, can't be transferred, and may be removed if they were earned against these terms.
• Plan features and prices may change; we'll tell you before a change affects a plan you pay for.

Acceptable use

Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of the service, access other people's data, or use automated tools to sign up or upload files.

Ending your account

You can delete your account in Settings at any time; it's erased after 30 days. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

Liability

Breakeven is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from investment decisions, or from figures, prices or alerts that turn out to be wrong, late or missing.
