Sell simulator
Try a sale before you make it.
How it works
Three steps, no guesswork.
- 1
Pick shares and a price
Sell some or all of a holding, at any price you want to test.
- 2
See every charge
Each levy and the brokerage, worked out the way your broker does, to the pesewa.
- 3
Know what's left
What you'd keep, its new break-even, and the fee tier the sale falls in.
Good to know
- Shows the fee tier for the sale, and the smallest order at that price that reaches the next one.
- Profit or loss in GHS and as a percentage, after every fee.
- Nothing is saved until you record a real trade.
Questions
About sell simulator
Does the simulator place an order?
No. Breakeven never places trades. The simulator only shows numbers.
Why does a bigger sale sometimes cost less?
The fee rate drops at each tier, and the lower rate applies to the whole order. See the guide on fee tiers.
More features
Break-even after fees
Breakeven works out the lowest price you can sell at and get back everything you paid: the shares, the buying fees and the selling fees too.
Target prices
Say the profit you want, as a percentage or an amount in GHS, after fees, and Breakeven shows the exact closing price that gets you there.
Price alerts
Set a level after fees: break-even, a profit or a loss limit. We check every 15 minutes while the GSE is open and email you once when it's reached.
