Keep your holdings in sync

Upload a newer statement and only the trades Breakeven doesn't have are added.

Updated 19 October 2026. 1 min read.

Short answer

Upload a newer account statement from IC Wealth. Breakeven compares every trade with what it already has and only adds the new ones, including any you entered by hand.

On Starter and above you can upload a statement whenever you like. Breakeven matches each trade on the statement against what it already has (same day, buy or sell, shares, price and amount) and only adds the ones that are new. Trades you entered by hand are recognised too, so nothing is counted twice.

When you choose the holdings to track, each one shows how many new trades it will add. Holdings that are already up to date are marked as such.

If Breakeven's share count for a holding doesn't match the statement after importing, it tells you: usually some trades from before the statement period are missing. Add them by hand, or as an opening balance.
