Short answer
Get your account statement from the IC Wealth app (the last 3 months works best), save the PDF, and upload it in Breakeven under Add trade. Tick the stocks to track.
The quickest way to start is with your IC Securities account statement. It lists what you hold and every trade in the period, with the charges IC applied, so Breakeven can record them exactly.
Steps
- Open the IC Wealth app and get your account statement. The last 3 months works best.
- Save the PDF to your phone or computer.
- In Breakeven, go to Add trade, choose Upload statement and pick the PDF.
- Tick the stocks you want to track and confirm.
Shares you bought before the statement period
If you held some shares before the statement starts, Breakeven adds them as an opening balance, costed at the average cost on your statement and labelled as an estimate. You can edit it later if you have the exact figures.
Keeping up to date
Upload a newer statement any time (on Starter and above). Breakeven only adds trades it doesn't already have, including ones you entered by hand.
What we keep
Your statement is read once in memory and never saved: not to disk, our database or backups. Your name, address and account number aren't stored. How we protect your data.
